This place is the true hidden gem. Probably the most authentic Italian food around. Service with a smile. Large portions. The vodka sauce is the best I've had in the area. My only complaint is I recently had the veal chop and it was undercooked. The chop was large and breaded beautifully but was too rare. Other than that one thing, everything else I have had there has been on point!
This was a great experience, the food the staff the very cool atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here. The calamari was amazing, really recommend trying that. Make reservations to be on the safe side. Everything was really well done .
Love this place! I feel the Italian Mom’ love from all the dishes. They are so delicious and fresh. All large portions. Clams are so big and fresh. Staffs here are nice and kind. I recommended this place to everyone I know. If you want to try traditional Italian food, please visit this place. You’ll love it!
The only thing angry is that you will be angry with yourself for not going here sooner. Tucked at the end of a multi tenant commercial building, up a hill on 9w in Marlboro NY, this family turns out the most amazing food (more on that later), but also shows what a family that works together can achieve. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a group of sisters and their mom who seamlessly run the restaurant while their youngest sister is the main chef and their dad is is the sous chef. Entering is like arriving into their family's dining room and you leave like you have been related for generations. The food is incredible. We started with warm bread served with whipped butter and olive oil. The house salad is a fresh mix of lettuce, mozzarella balls, chick peas, peppers, onions, tomatoes and delicious homemade dressing. Our entrees far exceeded out expectations and were the largest portions we ever saw. Fettuccine Michaelangelo was topped with a huge lobster tail, delicious shrimp and crab meat in a brandy cream sauce. There was no skimping on the seafood here. Meanwhile, my meal could have fed a family of 4; chicken vodka parm with rigatoni topped with fresh creamy burrata. Everything was delicious. They take such pride in cooking high quality ingredients from scratch to traditional Italian favorites. It's the family reunion you cannot wait to return to (after you finish your leftovers!)
This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant of all time!! I’ve been here for Christmas Eve, Easter, Mother’s Day, and just as a regular every week. The food gets better every time, the service is absolutely amazing. They never higher their prices for holidays- unlike other places. No other restaurant near or far comes close to the angry chef, and I’ve been everywhere. I drive 45 minutes to get here, and it is so beyond worth it. The staff is amazing, and amazing does not begin to explain the food. Their vodka sauce is to die for, the chicken Frances- fabulous! The best clams I’ve ever had, words don’t describe this place. They deserve all the success in the world! If you are looking for top notch food- this is it. They truly appreciate ur business, service is perfect and the food is the best I’ve ever had, what more can you want from a restaurant? Love love love the angry chef!!
Wow !! All I can say is this is the best place to eat in the whole Ulster county! Me and my family attend angry chef for the first time to celebrate my brothers birthday!! Lola our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel at home! She was one of the best waitress we have ever had !! To have a great server and great food is so hard to find I recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for 5 star all around we are grateful and we thank God for this amazing restaurant rite in our neighborhood! Never have we sat down to eat without anyone complaining about anything at all food was delicious great portions!!! Thank you Lola for making our visit amazing as well !!!

Wish i knew of this place sooner. My first time going and it was exceptional. Everyone in my party really enjoyed every thing that was served. I ordered the chicken alla vodka and it is one of the best i can think of. Family run and very well operated. Portions are big and prices very reasonable. It demonstrates the pride that a family operated business puts into their work.
